View compareMacallan 18Y 1985 75CL A very impressive release from Macallan, this 18 Year Old distilled in 1985. The single malt spent the next 18 years in Oloroso sherry casks until it was bottled at 43% ABV. On the presentation tube, you’ll be able to spot a quaint watercolour painting of Easter Elchies House, the spiritual home of The Macallan.
Macallan 18Y 1985 75CL distilled in 1985 and laid down at The Macallan distillery, was exclusively matured for more than 18 years in sherry wood casks from Jerez, Spain, before being bottled for the UK market in 2003.
The older iconic 18 year old, and earlier, offerings from The Macallan always continue to see a high demand and consistent rise in popularity, and this one is no exception. Prices rise year on year making this a great whisky for any collector and as an investment.
